Kent-Moore Hyundai J-47343 Radio Frequency Detector Service Tool

The tool detects RF transmissions on vehicles equipped with Remote Keyless Entry or the HomeLink System.

The remote used to program the HomeLink mirror must have a strong signal, which requires a new battery. The HomeLink signal will also be weak if the original remote has a weak battery. A new battery will increase the speed and accuracy of the hand-held remote sending its signal to HomeLink. The hand-held remote can be tested with the RF service tool to confirm a strong signal strength before programming the HomeLink system.
