Kent-Moore J-45666 Air Brake Line Release Tool
for GM.
Applications: 2007-2010 C-series MD trucks; 2014 Corvette & 2014 CTS with ELSD
An updated EGR cooler is used on 2007-later diesels. This EGR cooler uses a quick-connect on the cooler inlet line. J-45666 is designed to release the connector without damage to the connector or line. J-45666 has two ends (3/8″ and 5/7″) for multiple quick-connect applications, including liquid or air lines. To release the EGR cooler inlet line, the appropriate end of J-45666 is installed between the connector halves. The line can then be separated from the cooler. IMPORTANT: J-45666 must NOT be used as a lever to try and pull the lines apart. Its thickness is used to separate the connector halves, and the line itself is pulled to disconnect it.
